Sevgi TOPAK TOSUN
Dentist - Founder of Bembeyaz Dental Clinics
She was born in 1965 in İstanbul Laleli. She graduated from Suadiye High School in 1982 and Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry in 1988. In 1988, she started to work with the Dentist Abdullah TOSUN in Kadıköy and she got married with the Dentist Abdullah TOSUN in 1991. In 1989, Tooth Prosthesis Laboratory was established for the realization of only their works; in 1999, TOMODENT Panoramic and Cephalometric Imaging center was established in Kadıköy. In 2002, Kadıköy Branch was moved to the address of Bağdat Caddesi Şaşkınbakkal and continues its activities.
Abdullah TOSUN
Dentist - Founder of Bembeyaz Dental Clinics
He was born in 1960 in Rize İkizdere. He graduated from İstanbul 50. Yıl Tahran Lisesi (İstanbul 50th Year Tehran High School) in 1977 and İstanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 1983. In 1983, he established his first clinic in İstanbul Tuzla and started dentistry. Then, in 1988, he started to work with the Dentist Sevgi TOPAK and established his second clinic in Kadıköy. He married with Sevgi TOPAK in 1991. In 1989, they established the Tooth Prosthesis Laboratory for the realization of only their works. In 1999, he established TOMODENT Panoramic and Cephalometric Imaging center in Kadıköy. In 2009 they changed the clinics names and they continue their activities in Özel Bembeyaz Ağız ve Diş Sağlığı Poliklinikleri (Private Bembeyaz Oral and Dental Health Polyclinics) in Kurtköy and Tuzla.
Ceren TOSUN
Dentist
Born in 1993 in Istanbul, Ceren Tosun completed her high school education at Robert College. She continued her studies at Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry. During her university years, she received training in yoga instruction, children’s yoga, meditation, and Ayurveda.
After graduation, she continued her education in holistic medicine in New York. She completed aromatherapy training at the New York Institute of Aromatic Studies. She currently continues her professional practice in Istanbul.
Begüm TOSUN
Dentist
Dt. Begüm Tosun graduated from Notre Dame de Sion French High School in 2016 and from Yeditepe University Faculty of Dentistry in 2021 with High Honors. In the same year, she began her PhD program at the Department of Orthodontics at Yeditepe University Faculty of Dentistry.
She completed her 10-year ballet and dance education in 2018, earning certification from the Royal Academy of Dance. She is a member of the Turkish Dental Association, the Turkish Orthodontic Society (TOD), and Young EDAD.
Fatma Şükran Uğurgelen
Dentist
Fatma Şükran Uğurgelen graduated from Çanakkale Science High School in 2009. She began her dental education the same year at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry and completed her undergraduate degree there in 2014.
In the 2016 Dental Specialty Examination (DUS), she qualified for the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry. During her specialty training, she focused on oral surgery, impacted tooth extractions, cyst and tumor surgery, orthognathic surgery, jaw fractures, oral diseases, dental implantology, and grafting/reconstruction procedures of the jawbones.
She successfully completed her specialty thesis in 2022 and was awarded the title of Specialist Dentist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Hamiyet EKŞİ
Dentist
Born in 1959 in Kırıkkale. She graduated from Kırıkkale High School in 1976 and from Atatürk University Faculty of Dentistry (Erzurum) in 1982.
Between 1983 and 2007, she ran her own private dental practice in Erzurum. Since 2010, she has been working at our institution. She is a member of the Chamber of Dentists and the Maltepe Music Society.
Mehtap Güneş KÖROĞLU
Dentist
Born in 1983 in Artvin. She graduated from Fener Super High School in 2001 and from Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Dentistry in 2007.
In 2008, she worked at Private Şar Hospital in Rize. Between 2009 and 2010, she served at Eurodent Oral and Dental Health Clinic and Denttürk Dental Clinic in Istanbul. Since 2010, Mehtap Güneş KÖROĞLU has been working as a dentist at our institution. She is a member of the Istanbul Chamber of Dentists.
Pınar Aktop
Dentist – Orthodontist
She began her higher education at Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry in 2002 and graduated in 2008. In the same year, she started her PhD program at the Department of Orthodontics at Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry.
In June 2014, she completed her doctoral studies with a thesis comparing surgically assisted maxillary expansion methods and earned the title of Orthodontist.
She is a member of the Turkish Orthodontic Society and continues her professional development by attending numerous national and international trainings related to her specialty. Her areas of interest include pediatric and adult orthodontics, orthognathic surgery, lingual orthodontics, and orthodontic treatment with clear aligners.
Dr. Seza Nur GÜNGÖR
Dentist
She graduated from Bakırköy Hasan Polatkan Anatolian High School in 2008 and was admitted to Aydın Adnan Menderes University Faculty of Dentistry. She completed her five-year education and graduated as an honor student.
She attended the 26th and 27th International Dental Student Congresses organized by the Turkish Dental Association (TDB). She has completed a course in Root Canal Treatment. She is a member of the Istanbul Chamber of Dentists (TDB).
Alev BAHÇIVANGİL
Dentist
Born in 1995 in Istanbul, Alev Bahçıvangil completed her high school education at Istanbul Beyoğlu Atatürk Anatolian High School. She continued her studies at Near East University Faculty of Dentistry.
She attended the 2018 IADS Congress. In 2019, she received training in anterior direct composite restorations and diastema closure. She is registered with the Istanbul Chamber of Dentists and has been working at our institution since 2019.
